Today's Meal
Tessa Woodward has been promoted to executive editor at William Morrow/Avon.

At Little, Brown: Alexandra Hoopes has been promoted to assistant editor; Lucy Kim is now art director and Tim Harrington is senior art director; Katharine Myers moves up to director of publicity, Lena Khidritskaya Little becomes associate director of publicity and Alyssa Persons is publicist; and Ashley Marudas is promoted to senior marketing manager.

Kathryn Taussig will be promoted to publishing director at Bookouture as of April 23, reporting to Jenny Geras, responsible for recruiting and leading their recently-announced team that will focus on commercial fiction for the US market.

Forthcoming
Jojo Moyes' new standalone novel The Giver of Stars will be published on October 8 in the US by Pamela Dorman Books and October 3 in the UK by Michael Joseph. Inspired by a true story, the novel centers on "five incredible women and their unforgettable journey through the mountains of Kentucky and beyond."

Macmillan will publish the first four novels in a new eight-part series by Jeffrey Archer, about family man and detective William Warwick, beginning with Nothing Ventured on September 10.

Harper Wave announced it will publish Grit & Grace: Train the Mind, Train the Body, Own Your Life by country musician Tim McGraw on November 5. The book offers "practical advice and mental approach together with exercise tips to help readers become healthy, strong and fit in mind and body."

Barnes & Noble chose Lisa See's The Island of Sea Women as its March Book Club pick.

Awards
The Nobel Prize in Literature announced it will resume in this year, with laureates for both 2018 and 2019 to be named in fall 2019. The 2018 award was postponed after a sexual misconduct and leaking scandal. , and the resignation of multiple members of the Swedish Academy.

The organization also says it has made changes to restore trust: "The Academy's regulations have been amended, making it possible for members to resign. The statutes have been clarified. Several new members have been elected. The Academy also no longer includes any members who are subject to conflict of interest or criminal investigations." Additionally, five "independent external members" will help the committee select winners for the next few years.

In other award news, Kate Harris won Canada's $30,000 RBC Taylor Prize for her travel memoir Lands of Lost Borders.

The Audio Publishers Association announced the winners of their Audie Awards on Monday evening, with Tomi Adeyemi's Children of Blood and Bone named Audio Book of the Year. See the rest of the winners here.
